COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic Information

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has temporarily changed our way of life in Ashtabula County and beyond. The Ohio Department of Health has issued a Stay at Home Order, which went into effect on March 23, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. and now remains in effect until 11:59 p.m. on May 1, 2020. We strongly urge everyone to follow this order in the interest of their own health, and for the health and safety of others. You can find the amended Stay at Home Order here.

In a necessary effort to minimize potential exposure to the coronavirus and limit community spread of this disease, Community Counseling Center has substantially changed the way it delivers services to clients and stakeholders.

While Community Counseling Center has been deemed an essential service provider and remains open to the public, we strongly encourage you to remain in your homes and receive our services through telephone and/or video conferencing. We are seeing a very limited number of clients in person at our offices, and if you are one of those individuals we will contact you to complete a phone health screening prior to your appointment. If you are an established client of Community Counseling Center, your provider(s) will be reaching out to you by phone to provide behavioral health services and supports.

If you need to reach your provider for any reason, or would like to become a new client, please call us at (440) 998-4210. We will continue to take new referrals and welcome new clients during this crisis. Please contact us by phone to arrange your services today. We are here to support you during this incredibly challenging time.

Our pharmacy partner, Genoa Healthcare, is also considered an essential service and will remain open for business, however they are now focused exclusively on filling your prescriptions by mail, with only very limited exceptions.

We want to thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time of uncertainty in our world. Please remember that we are here to help as we navigate this crisis together.

Again, if you have any questions at all, please call us at (440) 998-4210 or email us at Please stay tuned to our website and social media accounts for continued updates.
